Huh

What's so great about Sachin hitting "another ton"? He's playing for Lashings for heaven's sake! It's not even like Minor Counties!

With bowlers like those around, even Harbajan Singh can hit a ton!

Sachin should try playing at a higher level to prepare himself to get back into the Indian team.

Exasperated
Steve

That's great come back by a great batsman!!
hitting 3 centuries and 95 in four matches is not going to be an easy task for a comeback player...good going sachin...just keep it up!!!

cheers

Sachin's third century in counties
by A.K.BANSAL on Jul 07, 2006 04:11 PM  | Hide replies

Well it may seem that he is scoring against smaller teams, but it is important that he gets some practice and confidence and get back to domestic cricket in order to be ready for the World Cup.

Hi Tejas.
I think we Indians over react to lot of things and I think Mr.Sandipan is a very good example of it..no patience at all..they seem to have short memories..
Nevertheless, I too agree that the schools and other are very competitive level in UK and US, definitely not of international standards but can be very challenging.
Sachin chose to play in such games before playing international matches is appreciated..the man thinks it will allow him to rethink abt the game, check his injury, enjoy the game w/o too much of public pressure and would not stress his injury while playing such games. Atleast this proves tht cricket is important to him and not against whom he plays..so it does prove he loves the game and I guess Mr.Sandipan would agrre on tht note too..
Mr.Sandipan, I pity u for such comments abt him..I am sure there would have been time when u must have loved him..and no how come u r spitting venom against him...probably u expect too much from him and want to see him do well..so u rather write such encouraging words and post on rediff..may be yur wish will come true.
FYI:- He scored his 4th 100 also :-).
Good comments Teju..Hope to see u soon.
Regards to all,
Nitin

Dear Sir,

Before passing comments, you should check out the statitics (cricinfo.com).....

1.Sachin was not doing as bad as you are potraying him.... and for your kindest information,

2. "School" in many countries means college, maybe a bachleors or masters level college too.... school does not necessarily mean 1st to 10th grade.

3.you would not even be able to stand in front of a school team bowler bowling to you with a leather ball.

So, please stop passing comments over the great man who has served the country so well.

hi iam murthy from bangalore

pl tell me sir, is this is the way to on a person
like sachin tendulkar

everyone has to pass thru bad stages. he is also a
human being he is not a race horse where the horse
will be killed immdty if it is found useless. you
people are killing him by words.

sachin even if he retires today no doubt he is an
asset. a clean person away from scandals realy a great cricketer. 14000 plus in odi& 11000 plus in tests realy a great contribution.

at this stage we shouldnot hurt him. you are cursing
him! people will show lot of sympothy & even public
strike for not selecting mr.s.ganguly. when it comes
to sachin few people will turn back.

instead of "great going sachin " let me say
" congrats sachin, relax, even today u r no 1. all
your bad days has gone. be brave & be self confident.
appreciation & cursing both r 2 faces of coin. pl take negetive coments in a positive way. donot worry.
donot break your heart. pick up slowly. take care.
thank god your hand is alright now. all the best.

it is very easy to laugh at a person when he fell down. but when it happens to us we will understand
the reality.

regards
murthy

Hi MR.strysh4,

Looks like u know everthing abt the game of cricket...but the way u have written the comments abt the great man is utter senseless and rubbish. I too know tht he hasnt been able to score the way he did 3 years back and dominated the cricket world but does tht take everything he has given to million of fans in a day. he has served the nation for almost 16 years...Boss just think there will be wear and tear of the body if u play international games for so long.....so i really dont think so he has faked his injury....Mr strysh4 u go and play a complete match of 50 overs...I am sure u wont get up from bed for next 2-3 days.....so keep yur "invaluable" opinions to yurself...and who are you u tell whether the man is worth or not....i think u r not worth even writing abt yurself, forget Sachin......

Last but not least...."If you cant speak few good words abt someone, dont even dare to speak bad abt the person..."....

I wish Sachin "ALL THE VERY BEST"...and hope he has recovered from his injury and I am looking forward for entertainment from the man...

Take care,
Regards,
Nitin Shere
