rahul dravid is nearing greatness, he is so consistent & has played some of the best innings by an indian overseas, for me he is one of the best batsman technically equipped to play on any surface & any bowling attack.
Dravid is definitely the best. Whovever first gave him the nick-name "the Wall" is only half right. No batsman who scores the fastest 9000 test runs does it by "walling" all the time!!! Hey what do you say to that? Any body for giving him a new nick-name?
India recovered thanks to Dravid's class leadership One aspect of our game has come to light in this series. With a four thronged 90 mph power house I am cetain India will hardly score above 200 runs in any innings. Our weakness for short pitched deliveries are exposed time and again.
This was highlighted by Veteran Ves Hall and we have seen live on the pitch.
Michael Holding's comment on Rahul Dravid is absolutely correct. He did not say that Dravid is the best but one of the best. Flintoff has miles to go before he can claim to be in the same league as Dravid. Appreciation by all cricket greats of Dravid's quality as a batsman PAR EXcellence Like Kapil Rahul has seldom been down with any cricket based ailment. It has come to my attention that Michael Holding hails Rahul Dravid as one of the best cricketers in the present-days of the sports. However, I refute his comments becuase I think he seems to have forgotten about Andrew Flintoff.
The English captain does everything, the little things as well as the big things to help his team stay together even in defeat. I am not saying that hailing Dravid as the best is wrong, but i fail to see why you would forget someone like Andrew Flintoff who is as capable a cricketer as Dravid.

The entire nation... sorry, the entire world now knows how great as a player and batsman dravid is. Any and every player might be out all of a sudden... but only when dravid comes to bat... i go and enjoy a long tea and snack break. You know why??? Because he will still go on until i come back from the breaks

No doubt Flintoff has done a lot for the England team....but Dravid has been doing this now a long long time for the Indian team...may that be wicket keeping or opening the batting recently etc....I Disagree with Michael Holding as he is not one of the best now ...he is one of the best in all time. Period!!!

I didnt understand why Michael holding should shut up if he believes Dravid is the best. People can have their opinions right? Tomorrow some one else can come and Say Ricky is the best and ask me to shut up. Can I agree to it? We can always present our opinions in proper manner and can restrain ourselves from being emotional.

Why would someone compare Dravid with the calibre of Flintoff ? R u nuts ?
We are talking about leading a team to sucess for a long duration, leading from the front !!!!!!!!!! No one dis-agrees to the fact that Flintoff might have captained well in the India - England Test Series . . . but now the big boy is sitting out injured.
Commitment levels of Dravid, Execution of plans, Temprament required for test games are something u will never get 2 see from anyone else but THE WALL !
Please post ur next comment when India Plays England, and until then . . . . Please Shut up !
