One thing never ceases to amaze me - someone who lacks the expertise of the wise men but follows the game of cricket rather passionately. Why is this creature called Kaif in the test squad? Or rather why should he be even in the one-day squad? Being an outstanding fielder shouldn't guarantee one a place in the field. Good fielding is a essential but not the only qualifying criterion. A batsman must play his most important part of scoring runs. I am not a stastician but I know that Kaif's test average wouldn't be up to 35 runs per innings. Even in one-day matches Kaif's average wouldn't be up to 32 plus! How can this man be in the squad just because someone in the BCCI wants him there? Is Kaif a better batsman than the wicket-keeper batsman Karthik? Is he even half-as-good as karthik? And Karthik would even make a more superb fielder than Kaif, given the fact that the former is so agile behind the stumps? Then why not dump Kaif and bring in Karthik?
HOw said the so called world beating Indian batsmen have heartlessly squandered all the good efforts o the bowlers! This is attrocious and Chappal should have a hard look at those whose repeatedly fail.
Well Well..just 4 days back we heard shouts from viewers that Dravid is good for nothing and is a spineless captain who is not going for the kill. Now he made the people who were bashing him with their comments eat their humble pie with his impeccable batting. Can we find any one atleast one reckless,irresponsible shot from his innings. It was a pleasure Watching his innings yesterday and today. Unpenetrable defence, gorgeous drives on both sides of the wicket and more importantly the responsibility with which he batted. Any one other batsmen, atleast one should have shared his burden.I would recommend you to have a look at the comments in cricinfo website. So dear bashers of Dravid,please, please, think and understand the greatness of this man before firing some nasty comments on his creditability both as a captain or batsman. Hail the WALL and support him.He is the saviour of our team. Ponting can stand first in ICC rankings but our WALL is far more better player than any batsmen in the present cricketing world. Thanks
