India alowed themselves to get defeated
by ashok gupta on Feb 01, 2006 04:31 PM

India have allowed themselves to get defeated by letting Pakistan off the huge pressure in the first innings. Then not scoring far in excess of the 245 further allowed Pakistan to consolidate to wayward bowling. We never had the pace Pakistan has but good bowling can certainly put pressure. India lacks variety and the bowling holds no surprises and is even predictable- so make merry.
Then the question against the great indian batting ?
so its the bowling and batting which India have to look at and without getting sentimental have to drop the passengers in the side.

absurd planning
by dr santosh kirloskar on Feb 01, 2006 07:51 AM

By making absurd, nonsense experiments like not playing regular openers, chappel and Dravid are ruining carriers of Jaffer and Gambhir and also Indian cricket. No person who knows a little bit of cricket would accept that on tour of Pakistan who has world class pace attack,India should have not played their regular openers.BCCI be aware,if such experiments are continued,in coming years we may have to play to qualify ourselves for worldcup, since our rating will be behind USA and Holland. If pak series is lost by India, chappel should accept his mistakes and resign.Selection committee and Kiran More should be accountable for failure in Pakistan.I am sure these bunch are going to blame it on peaches.Mr Sharad pawarsaheb,do something otherwise your tenure will be remembered as "INDIAN CRICKETs PUNYATITHI"

Greg Chappell: The Great Gang Master
by Rajkumar Singh on Feb 01, 2006 04:58 AM

It seems Greg Chappell is more expert in doing nasty politics rather than doing his job sincerely as a coach of Indian team. He can afford to do that only because of some slaves like Kiran More, Raj Singh Dungarpur and Rahul Dravid. Can he explain why the top order batsmen failed in the first place? Why India could not bundled out Pakistan earlier? He is lucky that Sourav got the break through in the second inings. I don't think he understands cricket any more. How does he thinks that India still could win the game! Does he thinks that all Indians are idiots like Kiran More, Rahul Dravid and Raj Singh Dungarpur??

Chapell talks Non-sense
by harsha on Feb 01, 2006 04:19 AM

3 days back, Chappell had give the statement that it is good bowling wicket and planning to play with 5 bowlers. Now He is telling that it is a good batting wicket and batsmen can do well.
From this, we can clearly see he is against the Ganguly's inclusion in the team. Indian team mgmt should check him out, or he will spoil the team unity with his own political formula.

Save this test match
by jayanta Sengupta on Jan 31, 2006 11:40 PM

Greg Chappel should not talk about saaving this match. he should talk how we can win it , otherwise why should he be a coach who is kept by us. Its his big mouth that said he is looking at the future. My God if this is future then we had it,no we cannot accept it may be More or mr. Pawar can but not us simple Indians.

Gregory Stephen Chappel is a conceited fool, I bet he doesn't know his team. I forecast India will lose by a margin of aclose to 200 or more runs. No way out, mate
