3rd Test
by partha biswas on Jan 31, 2006 12:30 PM

To view it without bias,Pakistan is playing a more mature Inning than India did.All the first Four batsmen have played with their heads down.Somehow that confidence, and ATTITUDE, is not with our Team members, excepting in Dravid and Laxsman. We have to be careful that we DONOT loose this test.It is just the 3rd day, and wicket will play truant soon.Best of Luck India.Anyway let the better performer win. Both sides are equal in personal strengths. It will be an interesting finish, I think.

What is Tendulkar doing in the team?
by Ravindra on Jan 31, 2006 10:13 AM

What is this so-called Great and Genius Sachin Tendulkar doing in the team?? Where does he fit in?? He is neither batting nor bowling .. rather just like useless creature he is crawling to an end of his career.

If Ganguly was dropped for a reason that he was not performing - then why can't this so-called Genius be dropped????? Guys.. let us oppose his selection too in the team.. because he is not doing any good to the team.. and if only the past performance is counted - Ganguly has a marvellous past - so, let him continue forever in the team... Tendulkar is just a big waste - he should be sacked atleast for a season or two by stating his nonperformance.

any comments?

Hatricks
by GSViswanathan on Jan 31, 2006 06:21 AM

Dear Sir,

How did the cricket record forget Chetan Sharma's compensatory hatrik later for his blunder in the last ball six by Javed Miandad in Sharjah?

I forgot against which team he scored that hatrik, taking the last three wickets of a team in succession I think.

Dravid's Decision To Continue With Ganguly!
by Arpan on Jan 31, 2006 04:54 AM

Not only Prem in this article but even Geoff Boycott & Waqar Younis, after the end of the 2nd day's play, opined that when Younis & Yousuf, both of them on a pair had come to the crease, Dravid shouldn't have continued with Ganguly & instead should have brought back Pathan as he was the one who had castled both of them in the first innings.

Had Dravid done so, if Pathan would have failed to take either of their wickets or both the wickets & instead would have gone for runs, Prem, Boycott & Waqar would have said "Why did Dravid bring back Pathan when Ganguly had just taken a wicket? It's rooooobish! Dravid should have persisted with Ganguly for a few more overs!"

On the other hand, had Ganguly taken either Younis's or Yousuf's wicket, the 3 musketeers would have said "Dravid's decision to continue with Ganguly was a masterstroke!" & blah....blah....blah....with heaps of praises showering on Dravid!

Politics Behind playing Ganguly in third test
by akshay on Jan 30, 2006 09:36 PM

Hi,
Friends This is called as you show so you will reap. When ganguly was captain he always pushed rahul back.so rahul is doing on batting pitch he is playing and on the wicket which supports bowlers he is giving chance to ganguly.if rahul will out on duck then also it will not effect his carrer b coz he has played well in batting wickets.
So dear fans of saurav pray for him plzz

Saurav's batting
by R. N. Bose on Jan 30, 2006 08:18 PM

Is it the end of the road for Saurav? Has he played his last international innings today (30/1/06)? Yesterday, in response to Sanjay Manjrekars's question, Geoffrey Boycott had said that Saurav should stricly avoid hooking or pulling, sticking to the V between the 'mid-wickit' and 'cover'. Surav perished (and so did all our hopes) when he did exactly what Boycott had advised that he should NOT have done. One wonders why he failed to learn from his mistakes, espacially when so much was at stake!

P.S. - The studied silence all around regarding Sachin's continued and repeated failure with the bat amazes me! Is he the holy cow of Indian cricket?

At the very moment, when Pakistan took 150 runs and piled up more, India has lost the match....

I am sure, india is going to lose the match...if you will see india's past record. on most of the occasions they were not able to make even less than 200 runs against fast bowlers in their second inning.therefore India chance to win this match is very less..
