Remember the game where Sachin was run out just because Shohaib Akhtar very casually- trying to pretend unintentionally- came/walked into Sachin stopping him from reaching the other side? It was evident what Shohaib had in mind, especially with Sachin in his blaster master form, if the ball and fielders didn't work, Shohaib's tricky attitude did. After a huge hoopla amongst the audience (was it in Calcutta? If it was, how could the match go on?) Sachin eventually came over from the dressing room, trying to pacify the crowd, waving and maintaining all his composure, rising once again to the level where he proved why he is the one! For many years we heard Sachin vs Shohaib and no matter how good a cricketer Shohaib may be, I certainly believe a bad/ill spirited man can never be a good sportsman.
without any apology its even more so. all evidence adds up to it, and yet we havent seen any action against the bowler. he snatched his cap from the umpire in a huff. all indications of his rude intentions. maybe under duress, but he wasnt the only one. and besides, he belonged to the hosts. making it all the worse.
