What the use of playing 5bowlers.
by krishnendu on Jan 25, 2006 01:20 PM

before the match Dravid said he like to have 5 bowlers to trouble the Pak.the pitch was dead.but while seeing pakistan scoring tons and tons of runs everytime, the question arrises what is the need to play 5 bowlers if they can not take wickets on dead tracks.
Media should ask this question to Dravid and chappel.

The pitches in Pakistan
by Pankaj sonkusre on Jan 25, 2006 09:19 AM

i was wondered why the pakistani curators made the pitches like this, but when i thought the both are asian countries (India and Pakistan) and they are superb batting lines so we can say this decision is all about pakistan management.

Dear Sir,

Several records are projected all the times.

If you make a list of all the wrong judgements of the empires then I think our Sachil Tendulkar will stand on top of the wrong judgements given to him by the empires through the matches he played on earth. If these wrong judgements were not given then Sacin would have crossed the 40th mark, the number of centuries he has scored in the international cricket.
Very pathetic. Empires shall take the help of the third empire in such cases of doubts.

Regards

GSV

I like the comment you made about the commentators, infact I did feel bad for people who have come into the ground to watch the whole game. Its been a boring series and it didnt live up to its charm and lets hope england series offers something good for us.

Ball chucking
by G Suresh on Jan 24, 2006 10:27 PM

Deliveries bowled by Shoaib akthar are mostly chucked for whih the icc has not taken any action. In the 4th days play, when he bowled a beamer to dhoni, action replay clearly showed he chucked

Indian team has performed exceptionally well, this credit goes to all the players , partcularly Coach Greg Chappell, he showed that even without Saurav, indians can do well. I don't see any reason why Saurav should be in the Team

When can Our Indian team Start Attacking Instead of Defending
by upendra on Jan 24, 2006 07:31 PM

We dont need Individual attack We need team attacking. Observing todays match when team score was around 500 runs just 88 less than Pakistan score when dhoni got out we need not steady wickets tumbling we needed runs at that point of time why was kumble(veteran batsman) preffered instead of Harbhajan or Zaheer who can swing bat and accumulate runs faster It was not third session but first session of day when scoring should be fast.

Our team should not make other teams to relax but should attack when can this venom of attacking feeded into our teams mind.

Tendulkar should remain as Tendulkar till the day he retires he is the one who taught attacking play and till his last day on field he should keep his title master blaster so instead of defending bowlers he should remind his old days and attack them.

Sachin's failure with the bat
by Alok on Jan 24, 2006 04:10 PM  | Hide replies

Dear Sirs,

I fail to understand how Sachin keeps on failing with the bat. He has not played his game. He should have stayed at the wicket instead of walking. Why can't the coach give him his piece of mind. He should again learn to play. I feel that he is in a different world that is the main reason for his failure.

I hope he will do better in the next game. Please convey my message that is, my wish, that he should score his 36th century.

Alok

RE:Sachin's failure with the bat

Hi all,
sachin is probably one of the greatest in the world today. Only reason I see for his failures is that he is not playing his natural game. His intentions to hang on on the filed like Rahul does is not right. He has found most of his success by beig aggressive and I think he has to go out to middle with same mindset and play his natural game.

Regards,
Shankar
