The comments of Atherton completely misses the valid objections raised by Indai against Australia and England always protecting their playing season [to ensure maximum income generation] and making India tour during its prime home season. These two countries have been having the best of times so far. this has to stop. And the ICC should be evenhanded in its dispensation of tour programme. Atherton vents his spleen on india on extraneous reasons and has not bothered to see the logic in india's stand

Mr. Atherton

Its great to hear that an english cricketer is badmouthing Indian Cricket Fraternity, is that Officials of England & Australia are exhausted with the words now & they now need Bunny's like you to speak on this Topic.

65% of world's Cricketing Revenue comes from India & it very much logical on the part of Indian Board to vie for a bigger say in world affairs.
Don't you think Cricket should be run like a Compettive Sport & not as a friendly freebie for countries like Bangaladesh & Zimbawe. Sports create passion & revenue on the basis of Sterlling compettive games like IndiaN encounters against Pakistan, Australia, England & South Africa or Ashes series between old foes & not from the boring games which are always one sided against the Countries like Bangaladesh or Zimbawe.

If Cricket have to grow then it do require that best cricketing talent compete on the Ground. Only then Cricket can Grow to be world sport & not just a passtime of only 10 Countries.

Have a Thought on this & please be happy We indians are relieving you of your age old burdsen of Custodian of Morality
