Rahul Dravid played 3 matches for the World XI and that is how he played 30 matches while India played only 27 matches..

That is because these are the stats for the year 2005 ONLY. Saeed did score 194 but not in 2005. So, please check and double check your concerns before you claim that rediff is wrong.

Boss!

When somebody Wins, someone looses...So 100 Wins and 100 loses... and same with tied things. You dont have to add both. It's correct to be 107. check yourself...214(your Figure) is exactly double of 107.

i hope its clear.

chow!!!

Correct your stats

This is to Rediff Reporter Rajnesh Gupta
Dear Rajnesh Gupta,

In the article "India fourth in 2005" which you have posted today, i think there is one mistake in the stats you have shown to us.
In the First table(Performance of each team), TOTAL was shown wron i hope.
you had shown us Total of 107 matches and shown 100 as in "Won" coloumn and 100 in "Lost" 5 as NR and 2 as Tied which makes 207. But u showed us as 107. Even though you add all the matches it gives total as 214.i think it is your editor who has to check this things.

Please make sure you post correct stats

India's Ranking
by Dipen Som on Jan 10, 2006 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

In the list of highest total by a team third one is of India's 356. But i think the highest total by india in 379 against Srilanka in world cup [ TONTON ] where sourav and dravid both made centuries. Sourav made 183 and dravid i think 145.

Dude,

U are perfectly right about India's highest score...
But I guess u didn't read the title of this article.

It talks abt matches played only in 2005...!

Cheers
