Typical politician's denial. It has as much truth as the statement that all Indians are millionaires .Taken in the side as a batting all rounder after being dropped due to poor form, the very fact that he did not figure significantly in bowling indicates how Ganguli had been smuggled into the side on specious plea.In the one match that he played he did not set the ground aflame. His was a laboured innings Such a batsman finding a place in the team would have been a mystery but for the fact that we have a BCCI President who managed to have the selection committee changed and then gives an publicised darshan to Ganguly only to ask the people believe that the Selection committee was not told to select Ganguly ! Let us believe him afterall he is not only the BCCI President but also an Honourable minister! S.Ramaswamy
What business does Pawar has in cricket team's selection? It was reported earlier by all dailies that he spoke on behalf of Saurav. Now he denies it. Let these corrupt politicians stay away from cricket. Already Indian cricket has gone through various controversies. Spare cricket please..
Dear sir, Can you straighten a dog's tail? Mr. S.Pawar is and will be a politician for whom telling lies will be like eating a cake. It is really a joke to read his statement . It is very open to the world that being a politician he wanted to keep Dalmia happy and he has conceded to the pressure. Who knows what threats were there from Dalmia? I am only ashamed of our selectors and BCCI in particular. They are not ashamed of putting their feet in their mouth.
