Ganguly's fate in dumps
by BHARAT SATISH TALWAR on Jan 03, 2006 12:03 PM

Eough is enough. Nothing further should be written on Ganguly It is a stale character now. It is a writing on the wall even umpteen of chances to Ganguly cannot make his future. He has already played hisinnings. He should be advised by his wellwishers to retire honourably.

Ganguly's fate in focus

It's untrue and amusing to say that Ganguly led India to victory in the 2004 Test Series hosted by Pak in 2004. In fact, Dravid led India from the front in the crucial first 2 test matches and gifted a 1-1 situation before the 3rd Test. Regarding performances the fans remember Sehwag's triple, Rahul's double, Sachin's near double, Kumble, Pathan among the star performers. Ganguly does not figure here too.

Ungainly Ganguly

So Ganguly's back. We can look forward to a couple of good batsmen getting run out owing to this clumsy joker. He should be grateful to his family of Kolkattans for their collective wisdom and vision of seeing with one eye in this matter. The one eye in the middle of their butt cheeks.

The author of this article is requested to check where his eyes are, because the way he is looking at the issue is a one eyed tunnel vision which has recieved countrywide criticism. In this context therefore I am interested to know what has happened to his other eye. So what he is suggesting about Calcuttans might be applicable to him as well.

Saurav Ganguly has been a big question mark over the past one year and he should have been asked to prove his form in domestic cricket almost an year back and not at a time when he has returned to form. This makes the situation painful for the chief selector and the man with an injured middle finger who are so eager to dump him.

One of the guys having a record of running out team mates is captaining Pakisthan these days who is slower than a sloth when its comes to fielding. Sauravs score in this regard is far better. He's scored more centuries abroad against England, Australia, South Africa & West Indies than on the home soil. Does it mean he scored those centuries using his helmet as was beamed in television footages to malign him. You haters go take a walk. You guys souldnot call yourselves cricket lovers you are just "HYPOCRITES".

How much more should i take ?
by TNC on Jan 02, 2006 08:42 AM  | Hide replies

One line from this article (if it can be called so)..

"There are fears that the Ganguly issue could prove a distraction for the Indian team...."

So if Dravid-Chappel combination fails for some reason - the blame will be on Ganguly for distraction ! Pure BS !! How much of this can one take ? Have to do something soon with this kind of media boards and funded journalism.

I don't think it is BS at all.

Was'nt he dropped from the team for his atittude problems. Was'nt there a concern about team morale?

How about getting other people run out or creating a lot of apprehension while going for every single run.
