Most of great players shelved their shoes at the age of 37/38. Sourav should continue at least three more years. What is Team India today is only for him! After Kapil Dev we have seen a positive-minded captain in him! He has intermingled passion with cricket.
We should not blame to selection committe for Sourav's issue. If realy he has talent, he should continue playing domestic cricket, prove that he still has lots left in him to take on the best in the business and stage a comeback.
It all boil downs to ones own personality... As age catches up, you lose the position once you held during your prime time and form... Dada need not prove to now... he is far beyond proving his worth... now it is up to dada to decide which cap to dawn... if he still has the passion for playing cricket, he can still continue playing ranji trophy...The love for game is more than playing for India... If dada still plays for ranji trophies, he will show that he still has a lot of passion for the game and circket is more than finance to him...So let us leave this debate to Dada only...
More than playing for the country.. it should be love for the game
Sourav should prove his skill to come back into the indian team.from the selectors point of view they dont want to look back and are looking into the future .,that is grooming the youngsters. Then what about dravid and sachin .Are they youngsters?Think
the selectors are doing wrong with sourav ganguly as he is the most successful caiptan of india in the history of test cricket. he made the team india a powerful team which can fight against any team in cricket.but what could i say abt ganguly is that he has to make a comeback by playing the domestic cricket as well as he can make it to international.
Should Sourav call it quits? Or should he continue playing domestic cricket, the answer to this question is he should not quit as lot of cricket is left in him. he should play at domestic level prove himself and stage a comeback at a national level. todays cricket obeys charles drawin theory "survival of the fittest".
