sourav should be given chance
by lalit k jha on Mar 18, 2006 09:59 AM

i think the way in which he has been removed from the team seems to be some politics in game which is not good for cricket, i think rahul , sourav and sachin ,3 stars can proved to be an asset for coming world cup and grooming a new upcoming team, so i think sourav should be given chance for 2-3 series, after all only the fittest will survive.

Sourav is a great player & a great captian. Still he has a lot of potential to serve for our country. He is much better than many of the players in the playing eleven.Anty Ganguly gang(more, greg)trying their best to put ganguly out of team. They tried their best to send ganguly out of team and succeeded. But Bengal tiger will be back.

I am a huge admirer of Sourav Ganguly. How can one forget "FATHER OF MODERN INDIAN CRICKET" as i would like to call him.Sourav should continue to play in Ranji matches without expecting to make it to team,if he has love for cricket. His performance in Ranji matches already started speaking volumes, he is a persona of great stature. I salute this loyal servant of NATION.

certainly not

In the present scenario, no player can sit on his earlier laurels. In Mohali a player of the calibre of Laxman was asked to sit out after his failure in Nagpur. No one raised a hue and cry. how long the cricket board is patient with Sachin's performance and should i say non-performance with the bat, is to be seen. For the first time in his life, my son went with me to watch the test match in Mohali where we live and was shocked to see Tendulkar performing so bad. He was a shadow of his past. If the same yardstick is applied, Saurav has performed much better than Sachin in the recent past in international as well as domestic cricket and deserves more chances, even as an opener in place of inconsistent and unpreditable Sehwag.

Hi,
My suggestion is Sourav Ganguly should be given a another chance. And he should prove his chances. He has good ability to win the games.

yeah

yeah , he has to quit. there is no need of such a hype for this matter in the media. he should be allowed to deliver his resignation respectfully if he is ready to do it. if he is showing us some more years of quality game there should be provision for that too.
