Kaif is the best fielder among the players of today's cricketing nations.His ability to perform under pressure make him valuable.He always motivate his team members through its fielding.So Kaif should be the captain of indian team after rahul.
i think no player in the history of indian cricket stayed for such a long time even with out playing well in many matches.Kaif is only person who is still in the team performing a third class performance but still the selectors trying their level best to save this person from leaving the team.I dont know wat speciality this person has that made the selectors to have a life term Bond with him in the indian cricket team.
Kaif should be shown the door. One argument in his favor could be that before his injury lay off he was getting lot of runs batting at No. 3. After he came back from injury he scored only in three innings (37* against Sri Lanka, 46 against Saouth Africa and close to 20 (dont remember exactly how much) and not out against South Africa in Mumbai in the match that India won to level the series. However, these reasons are not strong enough to give him a place in the team. Suresh Raina is doing well. There are some guys in the U-19 world cup who have done well. Every one needs to earn their place in the team. I personally would have very much been in favor of dropping Tendulkar as well had he not performed in this series. Gautam Gambhir is showing some good attitude. He should be played more consistently. However, the team needs 7 batsmen + Irfan Pathan. So the race could be between Raina, Venu Gopal Rao, Laxman, Dinesh Mongia and Kaif (assuming he will somehow make it back by performing well in the local matches). For the sake of India cricket, they must show the door to consistent non-performers. Kaif surely falls in that list at least in the present situation.
Kaif scores for the team 20 to 30 runs by stopping it scored by the opponents. Excess runs with his bat. He is an asset. Ganguly fielding, any day is questionable. I think in one dayers (present team) kaif stands an edge over ganguly.
Excellent job Team India! They excelled in almost every form in the ODI series. Awesome! I think the team is doing better without ganguly. There are too many hard feeling if Ganguly is brought back to the force. The team got well-knit with the abscence of Ganguly. We need to let go of him. He will always be remembered as an amazing captain who molded Team India into a powerful force. Draci showed in this series in Pakistan that he is also an extremely effective captain. He will prove himself in the following years to come. Best of luck Rahul Dravid and the rest of Team India against England! Make us proud!
i am very happy with the performance of indians team. i think kaif should be given more chances even in test matches though he had not done much in this series because he has potential and his fielding is excellent. All the Indian team gor coming series against england.Keep it up india
