Bedi be Sensible-Don't copy journalist be a sportsman
by BHARAT SATISH TALWAR on Feb 22, 2006 10:29 AM

Come on Bishan you are sensible to understand that you have been a good sportsman and you are liked that way only. Please do not copy journalist. On one side you are praising a person but just to criticise you start criticising in a journalistic way.
Please mend your writing.

AKS
BISHAN SINGH BEDI
by AKS on Feb 20, 2006 08:57 PM

When i was small i happened to see a match being played against Pakistan and Bishan Singh Ji was a spin bowler. I remember him getting hit for so many boundaries and sixes and india lost the game. I don't know how can this player talk about cricket when he himself has never been a polished one. I do not agree with people when they say Mr Bedi was a good bowler. He seems to be just in the team for the sake of it. He writes columns just for the sake of writing. Personally for me its just for the sake of sensation he writes. Sorry Mr Bedi, its my personal opinion and i think a player like you should not comment on what Indian Team or its Management is doing now-a-days.

India's Win
by M A Srinivas on Feb 20, 2006 08:39 PM

Actually there is not much different between India and Pakistan Teams.
Pakistan was 'Tossed out' in the one day matches .
If India batted first , the score line would have been different, as India was not able to do defend 300 plus total in the first match.
We never tested ourseleves by batting first, which is a weak point.

Our bowleres also bowled lot of wides, which may become a problem in future games .
Team should learn lot of minus points int victory.

don`t be so loop sided
by manoj on Feb 20, 2006 02:18 PM

i understand mr.bedi has a particular fondness for our punjab de munde in the team but obviously.in the meanwhile,he shouldn`t forget that dhoni should be praised equally as it was he who got india out of tight corners on more occassions than one.then there is one mr.sachin who gave our eyes some wonderful relief.what about r.p and sreesanth.india team is just round the corner(aussies beware).sourav you are still missed and the opener slot still awaits you.you and sachin were the best opening pair of the world.watch out sehwag.

something Mr. Bedi forgot
by V. Surendran on Feb 20, 2006 01:56 PM

Notwithstanding his all out praise for Yuvi, absence of the name Sreesanth in his column is indeed baffling, is it due to selective amnesia, Mr. Bedi? Or did Sree not perform well enough to invite your exalted attention?

Indian Team's performance.
by P R Nayak on Feb 20, 2006 01:34 PM

Right now Dravid's men are right on top of the world. Their emphatic 4-1 victory over Pakistanis who were beaming with high confidence after routing England in home series and defeating India in test series has made them favourite World Cup contenders.
Aussies must be wondering how to stop Yuvarajs and Dhonis how to face Pathans and Rudraparataps. We should only hope that success will not go to head and we become complacent as did before. With Greg around we may not this time.
