Regarding Andrew's comments I am afraid that what he has said tends to flatter to deceive. Do we really have any quality spin to speak of? The days of Bishen Singh Bedi, EAS Prasanna and BS Chandrashekhar are long one. At least one of these persons now runs a coaching academy for youngsters, but when would they be ready for the team?
It seems that instead of spin we have decided to invest our energies in fast bowling. But should we not try to build up on our strength by retaining capabilities for quality spin bowling? Surely the better spinners can adapt themselves to any pitch condition.
