Coach Chappell
by mohit gupta on Apr 04, 2007 09:13 PM

He has done a great job but our players are now rich beyond their dream as a result they have taken things easy without any committment. Now that the coach has resigned let us see what our great players can achieve which they have not done so far.

Team India

Why is this news coming back and over again. cant we just leave Mr. Chappell to do his job. If India will be doing well with this combination one year from now, then why bother about one person more than the team. Go ahead Mr. Chappell, the country is behind you.

his zeel to make all feel that he is working hard and making the team better is appriciable, but its a shame that he is putting personal intrests more than indian cricket.he didnt do anything so exeptional after he came in,as we see some exeptional talents like dhoni and phatan who made all the difference.
he has to change his attitude towards his job and work as professonal rather than a god father aiming for center stage and revenge!

Great Greg !!
by UMASUTARAO C on Feb 20, 2006 10:37 AM

The Indian Cricket is fortunate to have the services of the great cricketing brain of Greg Chappell to train them for the World cup 2007. The BCCI and selection commitee has to be congratulated for having selected him as a coach in spite of protests from some self centred persons as to "why not an Indian for the job?". Chapel should be thanked for accepting the job and with-standing the Bengali chavanism,Indian politics,Cricket-bigwigs's-nepotism and for having his say to select the deserving Captain and the team with out sucumbing to dirty politics! All the best Mr "Great" Chapel and your TEAM INDIA.

Mr.Chappell,

I dont have any dought in my mind regarding ur cricket knowledge ur far more great than what we thought.U made our indian team to be habbichual of wining. And greatest Prize u have given it to us that is wining series in Pakistan. This is remarkable acchivement. But still i have reservation about u,on ganguly case.I m not Bangali still i m saying this u have humilleted our Tiger like any thing. The man who made team india and shown us place in World cup final u made him too small.I understand no body can sequire his place on past performance but GOLD IS ALWAYS GOLD ENEN IF IT IS 50 YEARS OLD.I hope u will understand the feelings of all indian people and give him a chance to play for india till world cup,if not u need to give us gurantee our team india will win world cup without ganguly.BEST OF LUCK TO U AND TEAM INDIA.
Regards,
Vijaykumar

Wake up Call for BCCI
by Asfand on Feb 18, 2006 09:38 AM

I think Indian team has the capability to face and win any world level team and series. The only point i did not like was the Chappell's comment on Shoaib's bowling action. It would have been much better if this comment had come in the end of this series so this way Indian team could win the series without the excuse of Shoaib's absence. Just like what Chappell did to Sourav he tried the same tactics on Shoaib by challenging his bowling action. Chappell himself is retired and living an easy life but he should consider the youngster's future in the world of cricket. Making 10 pages reports to express an ego to destroy one's career. One would say Why did Sourav could not perform well answer is very simple. You put him under a jeopardy and then you expect him to perform normal while distorting his mind by keeping him under a psychological and emotional influence. I will make further comment as time permits me. Lots to say lots to share. I wish i could address this to the BCCI and make them understand what danger could Mr. Chappell bring to this brilliant youngster.Mr. Chappell did not import this talent from Australia. India has ample of talent and infinite cricket in the Indianblood
