better you keep quiet

Moin Khan, Shut your mouth and keep quiet. You pissed me off last time when you srote about sportsmanship. Why your column does not show anything about Shoib's kick. Did you not watch the match? If not, go and watch the replay. Do you think that was sportsmanship? You people show the actual color and never learn anything from the game.

Murthy's 4-pt plan for education

I think Moin Khan has a variety of articles written down PRIOR to the start of the series. One for a Pak loss, one for a India loss, one bashing Inzamam (we'll see this one soon!!!), one bashing Sachin, One bashing Woolmer or Chappell and so on. And he must just email them off to rediff as the result of the previous match dictates. His articles are so cliched. Hey Rediff editors!!!dont pay this guy for his articles. Its all absolute crap:-)

Critics are leg-less men who teach walking.....

Here is a person who has been in international cricket for years. And yet.............. no heavy credentials. And now he is out of the game and all the words of wisdom flow. Well well well, wat a pity. Doesn't Moin know that the Dravids and the Inzis of the game know wat to do well than him?? That is the sole reason why these people are heroes in their cricket. Moin is just another keeper. So, it is high time he shut his mouth. I know humans generally lack self-control. So, whenever Moin finds himself uncontrollable from 'giving tips' i suggest he should just have a look at his career statistics. Thats it. Moin is nothing infront of either Bob Woolmer or Greg Chappel. So, better stop this thread Moin. I dont think even a single idiot in this whole cricketing world is learning anything from these articles of yours.

''Hook or Crook''
by sha.s on Feb 13, 2006 09:19 AM

Remember 1999, Eden Gardens, Moin - when Sachin Tendulkar was run out at Eden Gardens in 1999, another dismissal that sparked debate about the spirit of cricket.

Tendulkar appeared to have grounded his bat before colliding with Shoaib Akhtar inadvertently, causing him to lift his bat when the bails were dislodged and being given out; Pakistan could have withdrawn the appeal given the accidental collision but chose not to, which was their right. In Inzamam's case, the decision didn't even involve considerations of a collision as a loophole.

Ultimately both decisions were correct according to law and that, not ensuing debate in both cases about sportsmanship, is what matters. Moin Khan, who played in that match, called Inzamam's dismissal deplorable, citing it as an example of India's desire to win by hook or by crook and launching a scathing personal attack on Rahul Dravid. Tendulkar's dismissal. Was appealing for it then not outside the spirit of the game as well?

Moin - You need to be careful about your words "hook or crook".. as you seem to conveniently forget your hooks & crooks and lambast others when their actions are still within the rules & spirits of the game. Good luck

Letter to the Sports Editor @ Rediff
by Ravi on Feb 13, 2006 08:23 AM

Dear Sir

I request you to please stop publishing such crap, from Pakistan, as Moin Khan's article on your website. His English is imperfect and style is poor as if it is a translation from Urdu.

Articles from any past Indian cricketer currently touring Pakistan would be well received.

Regards
Ravi

If you are looking for most ridiculous and foolish author in world cricket come here. Moin Khan will tell you how to become one. He might have playing experience but is not having any intellectual experience!!!
So, Moin Khan mind your words from now... See how Naved-Ul-Hasan is paying price for your statements. Perhaps you know that Shoaib is not playing any more in this series, you thrown your statements about fear pshycosis. Come out of your world. Before any body else become victim of your statements, keep writing good article!!!

No Shame

At least have the decency to have a small comment following up on the statement of yours claiming Tendulkar's career is done.

Also i see that you have no comment about Malik blatantly kicking the ball. Seems like pakistani cricketers have no morals and/or principles at all. Notice in the slow motion how his eyes are on the ball and how he purposely drags his foot and pushes zaheer. This is the second instance in the near past (Shoab akhtar pushing Tendulkar). And you and Inzamam have the gall to complain about the indian appeal against inzi.

Shame on you!!!
