This totally sucks. This info is available to *anyone* once broadcast through TV. Its on cricinfo.com, rediff.com, and you just have to look all over the web. Whats the deal trying to licence this too ? This is not software, but publicly available data we're talking about. Its generated from public data, transmitted over private networks (and thats what people are paying for). 'Piracy' is a ridiculous angle to this.
I realy don't want to know what is going on behind the scenes, what i do want to know is whether I would get back my money which i have paid to AIRTEL for cricket updates.
This is rediculous. A cricket score can not be private property of anybody. The companies might be having their men sitting right in the spectetors. You can not stop them from sending scores to anybody. Just like news-papers do.
