Whatever said....

Whatever is being said about our loss is evident. But the fact cannot be denied that Pakistan really played well the other day. We had gone in with 6 bowlers and scored 328 when usually we go in with 6 batsmen. Even 6 specialist bowlers could not stop the game from giving it to Pakistanis.

Excuses dont cease to exist

D/L or no D/L pakistan beat us handsomely. Mr. Dravid should stop making excuses for the loss. He & Yuvraj should have capitalized on the start given by tendulkar/pathan & dhoni. He should have tried raina with the bowl. In any case dravid is not fit to be the captain

Udai Agarwal
India vs Pakistan 1st ODI

I think the men in blue did a fantastic job in all areas. They just lost too many wickets in the end but the key was to go pass 300 which is appreciated.Sachin, the little master, came out with yet another ton that strapped tape on the lips of those who criticized his abilities. I think Harbhajan Singh should get the ball instead of Murali Kartik in the next match because he is not only good at his off break, but can bat well to keep the scoreboard alive. Sehwag, the Indian tiger, should be coming up with new techniques to attack Pakistani bowlers and trust me after Sachin's knock, I think its all about spending time in the middle and keep rotating strike. In fielding, Yuvraj-Kaif-Raina combination is a birth of tight fielding. I wish all the best to the men in blue to get pakistani players on their knees.

Rahul and his crap!
by swaroop on Feb 07, 2006 09:24 AM

Rahul Dravid should realise,if he hasn't already, that it would have been a cakewalk for Pakistan had it not been for those of them who threw their wickets at crucial junctions with light coming into play as well.India couldn't defend a 300+ total. How much should they score then? The series might witness easier lollies of victories by the hosts!
