It seems that you r back to square 1. dont u have nothing else to write? these type of articles are very common and start appearing as soon as india loses one match. com'on lighten up!!
Sir, if I am not wrong, I do remember one of your articles around in 1999 or 2000 about trashing Tendulkar and I do remember how crowd also trashed you back with even bigger intensity. The fact is India is not going down, let us face it , two odd days is what India had. We do not just become worst from being 2nd best. And remember Shoaib, is not even called once for his action, Asif produced probably the balls (by bowling) of his life twice to Laxman and once to Sachin. India is not going wrong anywhere, they were just too tired. Pakistan were just lucky to get more batting and there by they tired Indians thats it and nothing more. For all those who said Tendulkar has lost it had to eat their own words for the master again showed whats the difference between a so called great player called Ganguly, and a legend called Tendulkar. And if every one is entitled for their own opinion then I guess today Pakistan just barely made it. We had it in our hands. Agarkar would have completed it somehow in our favor. Call me a Indian fanatic or a learned moron but I do not get any fun in trashing our own heros.
Just one lose resulted complete flip of the opinion. Please for god sake don't write u r columns even when india is playing good. Nobody want's to lose specially a series like this.
You were commenting about the players personal commitment. Are you with them for whole week to judge them?
Hey Man you must be a real crank. Everyday is not sunday and you praised all along the team spirit and the captaincy of Rahul during the Home series against Srilanka and SA. Having the pen in hand means that you cannot write anything you like. As Apurva pointed out you must be a class act as you tell a man who has taken close to 500 test wickets how to grip a ball. I think our team is not involved in importing balls and doing a courier job. Let them pull up their socks. Pak have the home advantage dont forget that. Give them one more chance. You cannot win everytime. Sachin and Anil are a class apart. They dont need your comments or advice to hold their future back so its better that we mind the business of our own. Criticism is welcome but not articles like these. Sitting in an air-conditioned room and writing what ever you like is not going to do any good. My sincere advice is to keep off your mail box for a few days else you are bound to get replies like these for your stupid article.
Come on dude. Cut the crap and give us a break. We need "batsmen, pacers, spinners, fielders, keepers, super-subs, all-rounders, coaches, managers, physios, psychologists" ?. May be you need the last one from that list. Agreed we have weakness in our bowling, but that doesn't deserve an article like this. Get your basics and facts (and attitude) right, otherwise stop writing these articles.
...so, why hadn't you written this article two months ago, and posed the same questions? Here in the USA, we'd have called you a "Monday morning quater-back" (pearls of wisdom from an arm-chair quarter-back after a defeat of sunday'd ball-game, of course)!
Your heading is very right.Unless the selectors pack the team with Allrounders in the team,India will not perform.Even if the team perform,Consistency will not be there. Following players must be shown door.No other Player in our cricketing history has got chances as much as Agarkar. In his place a Geniune allrounder must step in. Look at the balance of Pak team, except for Salman,Inzy, yusuf,Yunis all are allrounders.we need Shoibs/Razaks as Shastry,Madanlal,Binny & gavri. Cant selectors locate 2 more Ifrans in a country of 1 billion. Till such tinme India finds Balance, team keeps loosing & post mortems keep continuing.Personal records keep piling & media keeps projecting Individuals. Ultimately Teams shd win, need not hv great names. That is the moral of the lesson
