U.P. under the able leadership of Kaif has proved the fact by winning the Ranji trophy that the days are gone whan the cricket was been ruled by metro cities like Mumbai & Delhi. Now the teams that were considered as lukeworms in the past are doing well. This is a very good sign for the future of Indian cricket. Players like Dhoni are coming out of very unknown places. The need is to bring more transpancy in our selection process and encourage the young talents from all over India and the selection on the regional basis shall be avoided.
