Well done Sreesanth. you had done it again. congratulations.. It is time to rethink whether Sehwag should be there in the playing eleven in the forth coming test and world cup.

Umpite's decesions on Dravid.
by K.R.Murty on Dec 30, 2006 06:55 AM

It is very much frustating to see two wrong decisions by the same umpire, in the same test !!!

I do not want to write his name !!!

All Indians can feel the frustation of our captain on this issue.

Indian cricket authorities should lodge a complaint and see that justice is done !!!

He should never be allowed to umpire any matches with India in future !!!

We are all with you Dravid !!!

If Dravid had been there, the story wud have been different
by Srinivasan on Dec 30, 2006 01:44 AM

Both first innings and second, the India captain was a victim of poor umpiring. First innings, had he stayed on, the lead wud definitely have come down or who knows we wud have taken the lead. We can forgive that, look what happened in the second innings. India, desperate to save the test, needed their most reliable player to stay and play a long innings which he wud have done (remember the drawn test during 2001 series where he and Deep Das gupta batted out the day) but a poor umpiring decision, sent him on his way. With that, the chances of India saving the test, is gone. Lets hope that the rain Gods have mercy on us and help us to maintain the 1-0 lead.

Indian cricket - a tragedy
by T.P. Viswanathan on Dec 29, 2006 09:17 PM

When other batsmen fail and just do not bother about playing a decent game, why should the capitan toil! The man once known as the pillar of strength is now playing worse than an under-19.

Sehwag needs to be sent back to the basics on the lines of Irfan Pathan. He thinks Indian cricket is at his mercy and he is not answerable to anyone.

If India wins tomorrow it will be a miracle. Why, even if they draw, it will be an equal surprise.

India's dismal performances
by MANU on Dec 29, 2006 08:29 PM

India is once again staring defeat. The team selection has got a big role to do with this.Going with a winning combination cannot be justified when you include people like sehwag and jaffer at the top of the order. Its like starting your innings with already 2 wickets down.Even Irfan Pathan and Gautam Gambhir would have made a better combination at the top.In the bowling department VRV has failed to giv thae proper support to sreesanth and zaheer. It would have been wiser had team management changed the non performers. Now its time to think about the 3rd test.Let the weather gods save India!!!!!!!!!!!

by Vikas on Dec 29, 2006 07:28 PM

Team INDIA note ,you are competing against 12 South Africans on the playgound ,the invisible player in the field happens to be either of 2 umpires.Rahul Dravid the heart of the Indian batting has been lynched both the times in the 2 ininings in this test by incompetenent umpires .
