You are right. Media & viewers' reactions are always exteme. If there are one or two good knocks, they will start treating the pplayers as gods and after few failures, the same media and viewers will start pulling their pants down.
Please calm down. Let him play his game. We have the habbit of praising highly on somebody who is performing and then hurling him to the ground once he fails in one or two matches. Will we still be heaping the same praise if he fails in the next matches? Certainly not.
This is expected from common people, but atleast cricketers should refrain from doing so.
