Ban on Dalmiya
by Dr. Rajkumar Singh on Dec 17, 2006 09:32 AM

This is just an example of Indian poliitics. Honest patriots and devoted Indians are always punished. Slaves and aniti-Indians get rewards in this nation!!

Life ban on dalmiya by BCCI
by Dr GK Sharma on Dec 16, 2006 06:05 PM

Is BCCI legally qualified to impose life ban?
This ban will not stand scrutiny of law.
The present management of BCCI is very much scared of Dalmiya Hence indulging in weird actions.
They are acting foolish

BCCI life ban on Dalmiya
by Bhalchandra K on Dec 16, 2006 06:01 PM

Dalmiya is a great example of what is wrong with our institutions. He has nothing to do with cricket, his only skills are manipulation and money-laundering. How such persons are allowed to function with impunity at the helm of institutions of national importance is a great mystery. The current state of our cricket is in no small measure attributable to Dalmiya and his cabal.

It is completely unjustify, illegal. It is dishonour to sports body, like BCCI. It is Mr. Dalmiya who has put BCCI in the world sports.

Simply it is shame to BCCI.

Life Ban on Dalmiya
by Ananth on Dec 16, 2006 05:18 PM

Whats up next? Hot news on various TV and media networks: Jagmohan Dalmiya enters politics (since he has already been pre-qualified because his fingers are in the pie), then becomes Sports Minister. The future is here only.

If Jaggu has defalcated the money then all the fellows who are now in the General Body are also no saints either. Even the Head of the pack Mr Sharad Pawar has doubtful credentials to boot. God only knows whether the World's richest Cricket Body is run by GCCI to expand Group of Crooks and Criminals

Corrupt should go- definitely. Adieu Dalmiya
But is ganguly a spent force? I THINK NO, it is the Politics within the board including the selectors are making the Indian Cricket a spent force. Chappel fuelled the fire of Ruin.
See Ganguly's performance in todays match: He is the highest scorer with Max strike rate just after VRV Singh's Scintillating stike rate of 190. In the match between rest of SA and India Ganguly,s 87 in the 2nd innings along with Zahir ' s good bowling led India to win.And rember he is in pressure!
one may argue about future consistency! Who in indian team is consistent? Dravid is no longer a wall. He is creeping under the load of Captaincy and not a good captaincy too. tendulkar? Dhoni? Sehbag? wasim Jaffar, the new comer we are giving consistent chances even after consistence in failures! Ganguly is much better than many in our present team.
Chappel understood his mistake but his typical style will not permit him to express sorry in public.
In a voting by Rediffmail. com, 90% of more than 6000 respondent was for ganguly,s inclusion.
Ganguly is apostle of determination and fight in indian cricket. His killing instict infuses life in Indian Cricket
