Underperformers are to be replaced
by ML Chandrashekar on Dec 14, 2006 08:07 AM

Underperformers whether in one day team or in test squad should be called back as they are burden to the team. They are not playing to their potential and standards. Example, Mr. Sachin Tendulkar is a Master Blaster and a wonderful cricketer. There is no doubt about it. But in recent past viz., Champions Trophy and South African tour, he is not upto the mark. Such a great batsman he don't know how to play the ball. He has forgotten his original sytle of batting. With this, giving him again and again chance is affecting the performance on the team. So also, Shewag. He has forgotten to play long innings. He knows that even though he didnot play he will be picked up in the side. This has to be gone from the minds of the cricketer. If he fails to perform he has to give another one chance and he has to ask to sit back as a reserve player. Otherwise, they will not improve their performance.

Shah should shut his mounth
by Mahendtra Kumar on Dec 12, 2006 11:41 PM

Shah should shut his mounth. These BCCI people do not have any experience in playing cricket. They just want to get some popularity that's it.

It is not abt bowling coach or players performance for them. It is all abt money for them.

What about underperformace of Coach, Captain, Chairman of the Selection Committee and BCCI. I think they also deserve the same treatment. No double standard please.....
