Even if Indian can manage to Draw or lose lesser games, the performance can considered good. No big from Indian now.
Its going to expose Ganguli severly. May be this is last time he is showing up. Ganguli was never a test batsman. Many times I wondered how he managed for so long without adequate technique to play pace / fast bowling. Only one big plus with Gangli is his determination. If he is finding it out this time good for Indian team and much better for him.

As the proverb goes--morning shows the day, so is a good start in cricket. Either in one day or in test. This has to be in the mind of our possible openers in Sehbag and Gambhir. But saying that is easy, it is to be seen how they practice the same.As we said earlier, we have now a much more balanced side with many of our youngsters and experienced players.Players have to believe in themselves.once this confidence is instilled in our players including Laxman, we may see a good fight in the test ahead.Otherwise, we will see the same repeatation of caving in of our batting which we don't want to see. With ganguly and Laxman joining the team, suddenly the team cmposition looks solid, at least on paper! But we want a good start. Yes, a good start for the test series!
