Chappel sir can try this!

Normally we keep hoping Indian Cricket team may still recover sufficiently at least to win once, but it was sort of beginning to be sure this time that they will be washed out, dried and dried out! And every one seems to be making the right 'noises'. And if Greg Chapel is trying out many things including movie 'miracles', may be he should try out the Hindi movie "Lagaan". Atleast on screen there, we had a dedicated and committed cricket team "winning" against heavy odds - with only the pride that they possessed!

Dear Greg,
The situation has come to a stage that you and your team would need oxygen or life supporting system to survive!I am sure you are not accustomed of staying with a team which is so badly demoralised, and Australians as we know are much better fighters than Indians and that's a reason for their continued success. But even accepting that fact, question remains as what is your role in lifting this sagging morale!Let us look at another coach--John Buchanan.John has not played test cricket, but has become the most effective coach that Australia had in its history. And why? Because he makes critical evaluation of opposition's strength and weakness and makes his strategy accordingly. He advises his players what are the dangers, what are the pit falls and ask them to take care of them.Greg, you were a great player, a great captain, but not necessarily a great coach. Why not do some introspection, do a SWOT analysis and give yourself a chance to excell over others!Try it, and you could be successful!

Yes,this is the right thing to do Mr. Chappel.Ask every member of your team why they have not listened to you!If you have asked them to play 50 overs putting their head down, and that sounds logical under the circumstance, then why they have not adhered to it !Is it because you could not drive the message straight? Ask yourself.I read your elder brother, Ian, for whom I am a admirer, had to walk back home on foot from the cricket ground because he didn't listen to your father! Why Greg cannot instill that discipline into our players? We know Australian players are much more arrogant, we also know what Ricky Ponting was a few years back under St.Wagh.Then why not you make them listen to you! And even after that if they don't listen, just don't allow them to go to the field and play.If you want to save your face, you have to be successful.
