What and why do we bother about the players doing shopping or outing? What we need is Team India's winning trend. They are giving us that. Hats off to them. Keep doing things in the positive way. We are all with you. Together WE can! Regards. V I N A Y
I have read your reactions to Indian cricketers shopping in SA and posing for pictures with fellow Indians there.
What's wrong with cricketers having some good off-time?
Life is not all about cricket on the field, winning and losing, etc. That will go on.
I'd say cricketers must do more shopping, more visits to spa, retreats, discos, etc. That will lift their spirits, and help improve their performance.
Also, cricketers are NOT women, who can never get satisfied with any amount of shopping. Women keep on buying stuff they do not even need, unlike men.
Cricketers have lot of money these days, probably more than they need. So what's wrong with going on a shopping binge in a foreign country's best mall?
It shows their minds are NOT full cricket, which is a good sign. It means they are not preoccupied with cricket but have achieved a very good work-life balance. It also shows they are not miserly like some of the filthy rich communities that earn lot of money but never spend nor share nor distribute, but hoard it, only to die with all that cash and wealth unused and unenjoyed.
When Cricketers don't care about the game, fans , country(pride) but are only interested in Money , Shopping and "Phoren" Trips why should we care about them ??!!!
thats waht they were doing in South Africa- Shopping, partying, picnic. had they used this time for practice on bouncy pitches they could have gained something to respect of the country.......

Indian cricketers went to SA as mere visitors watching SA win and the memorabilia for indian cricketers is just shopping items in SA to show it to their grandchildren.
