Yeah ! Bob should be quitting the game to bringing to disrepute more often than not. He had planted a micro phone with Hansie in the 99 world cup. Stiching together the various pieces of information we now know how on earth were SA so successful till hansie was at he Helm.
Use a new ball for every over. That-s 100 balls for a ODI. Chicken feed, compared to the amount of money the ICC spends on frivolous matters. In fact, they can even make a business out of selling "one over used balls" at a price higher than purchase (e.g. -- the same ball that gave Kumble a hat-trick in the world cup, etc etc etc). It will get rid of the tampering nonsense from the root.

.... and it will get rid of something called 'spinner' too. 'Reverse swing' also.... an old ball is an integral part of the game buddy.....
instead make ball tampering legal... what is the big deal... put a penalty that if the ball becomes unplayable then the batting team gets 10 runs per over for the remaining overs..... howzzat?? :)
