Umpires Greediness
by Ravindra Singh on Aug 26, 2006 09:31 AM

Its now proved that howmuch greedy he is. There must be investigations of all his decisions against Asians. No wonder if he has taken money for eight LBW decisions aginst Indian team in Australia. Now its high time to sack him immediately. Asians must unite to see his ouster from the panel of ICC.

Hair is being victimised for telling a truth?
by sindhuja on Aug 26, 2006 09:28 AM

Poor Hair, He does a job well and then gets victimised for it. After getting caught Pak team has always indulged in such accusations. They will always be arrogant, indecent and uncooperative bunch of players who are forever accusing anybody who catches them red handed.
Im glad Hair has the gumption to stand against it all and not shut his gap just because they will eventually resort to 'racial abuse' reasons.

darell hair
by abdulla on Aug 26, 2006 01:22 AM

Darell hair is cancer for cricket, he should be removed, Inzamam and his team should be cleared of cheating, and the match result should not be reversed and it should remain match won by england as a punishment to pak team for bringing game of cricket to disrepute, and thus this chapter should be closed in the best interest of the game, thus both the parties will be punished and cricket will win.view from an indian

Hair offered to quite
by Lakshminarayan on Aug 26, 2006 01:00 AM

I wonder if Malcolm Speed would have so swiftly (read hastily!) given a clean chit, had Inzamam sent a letter on similar lines. I am sure he would then have said that this act by itself is a direct admission of guilt by Inzamam.

Hair's claim!
by Kunal Naskar on Aug 26, 2006 12:14 AM

So, finally the man spoke out his mission.

I am no one to verdict the decision, but yes as a cricket lover many a time it raise a question in my mind, why only one man is so dedicate to spoil the game.

If his demand is accepted, will not be a instance for those who are more keen for money rather then to his integrity.

Mr. Hair should be questioned about his integrity towards his job (while standing as a neutral umpire).

My thought is no way he should be rewarded.

by mahadevan on Aug 25, 2006 11:14 PM

Hair has to be sacked from the ICC panel of umpires. In fact he should not be paid any compensation, for bringing the game of cricket to such a disrepute. The cricket world is watching ICC next move and it,s the responsibility of ICC now to act and not err this time to save the game.
