Darrel Hair is Great
by Jambu on Aug 23, 2006 01:06 PM

I totally support the decision made by Darrel Hair. Problably he might have been wrong for some occassions but not in this case on sunday evening.

He clearly communicated with his counter part and ICC match referee before forefitting the match against pakistan.

I appreciate the stubernness of Darrel Hair

screw the aussies

Spirit of cricket and Aussies! Gimme a break!
Think sledging. This beautiful game has been completely corrupted by Aussies by their venomous sledging. The umpires have been mere spectators. That is good umpiring -- yeah Aussies? When Tendulkar is given one after another supremely dubious LBWs, that is good umpiring. Yeah? When an Aussie player dissents, he barely gets a slap. We are told that is Aussie culture -- nothing wrong. When a South Asian player dissents, he should be heavily punished. Is he not from a docile culture?

I can go on and on. But that is not going to change anything. South Asian countries -- real economic power behind Cricket -- should band together and destroy the Aussie mafia at ICC and set the record straight in the field.

Steve Waugh is the biggest criminal the cricket has ever known. He has destroyed the very essence of this game by taking sledging to such an obscene height.

Australians support - Hair
by ali on Aug 22, 2006 05:32 PM

The Australians have always had diferent set of rules. In the match fixing episode while India and Pakistan banned their players. Australia ignored the allegations against Mark Waugh, Tim May and Shane Warne. Similarly, Hair has always been biased. Has he ever taken any disciplenary action against a player from Australia, England, Newzealand, South Africa ? He firmly follows the rules of cricket only if it is Pakistan, India or Sri Lanka.

time to take action on umpire Hair
by deepak rajan on Aug 22, 2006 03:46 PM

Hi!

This is about the ridiculous Hair. Its is quite clear that Hair has been plotting against asian teams and has some sort of racist feeling against such teams. It has also been shown in recent times how racist are some aussies who make stupid comments like dean jones and now Hair who is likes to create history. The ICC should investigate and see if Mr.Hair is doing his work rightly? otherwise its just being baised. Players must have the freedom to voice their opinion, they are not slaves on the field and umpires are not dictators, but wihtout doubt Hair has brought is bringing to light what some australians are made of, like jones did a few weeks ago. Lets hope for some justice in cricket which is going to the dogs nowadays.
