How can one forget the LBW decision given against Tendular during the test series in Australia in 1999, when the ball hit his shoulder from a short bouncer of Mcgrath. In my opinion he should be banned from umpiring in the International matches..He was always controversial, he is controversial, and he will be..............
many pakistani umpires gave mostly indian out for playing the ball by pad in 1980 to 1983 they have won the test match series as well as one day match series also due to biased umpiring in pakistan by the pakistani umpires before 1983. In fact pakistan is part of ASIA & the players & politicians must remember that ASIAN legends like MARIA SHARAPOVA, SUNIL GAVSKAR, SACHIN TENDULKAR are also in truble by this type of any asian team in britan. Not only that the image of pakistani cricket legends IMRAN KHAN NIYAZI, ZAHIR ABBAS, WAQUAR UNIS is also put to blame because of the recent teams stupid behaviour not to play when there was no bad light, no rain & the main thing was the pakistan could have won the match by minimum 6 or 4 wickets. This clearly shows that INZAMAN UL HAQ has no ethics or do not have control over his/his team mates anger. I am well wisher of pakistani cricket team in the sense that they have won world cup in 1992. Good will is always there in the hearths of all indians for pakistani cricket team because they are asian. Pakistani team must return home otherwise british police will deport them, better to leave where you can not admit rules & regulation on foreign soil
It is surprising to question the reuling of Umpire in the game of cricket which is called Gentlemen game.
How fair are the players when the right sportman spirits are called for in this game.?many examples of Vishvanaths or Sobers be shown in the period later 1980's?.
There are countless games and series that can be cou which India has lost on account of"Bad umpiring by Austrialian, Srilankan, Pakisthani umpires when the host country was responsible for deputation of umpires. The decisions were accepted in all humility and spirits of the game".
Now, a days the game has become more commercial and non sportive.Players and managers indulge in jeering at the opponents in one or the other way. Wishful thinking in the matters of accuse has become the order of the day.
The umpire's decision under certain circustances may not be correct but to make it as an issue of vengence indicate that the team or the player's wishful thinking and lack of maturity and sportsman spirits. Such attitudes should be addressed first and one should inquire into the incident of umpiring later. The players and the team should first hnour the decision of the person officiating the match first.
Red necks like Malcolm Speed and Darren Hair have never had it better. Malcolm has his hatchet man Darren , ready to rub the nose of South Asian cricketers in the mud . Malcolm Speed seems blind to the acts of misdemeanour by Glen McGrath, Shane Warne and Ricky Ponting , but is ready to hurl the book at South Asians?
A question for the ICC- if the umpires and Match referee who took similar decisions were South Asians and if the affected teams were England, Australia or New Zealand, would Malcolm Speed, Dave Richardson and co , backed the offocials too?
The teams from the subcontinent should object to such biased umpires, they are not fit to stand in any match. they are biased against the sub continent/ coloured players/teams and the teams should object to him standing in any of our matches and ban him at least from asia/africa
Darrell Hair had also no balled Muralitharan in the same one -dayer when Murali decided to bowl legspin to finish off the over after being called for Chucking in the one dayer against England at the Adelaide Oval. I need to understand as to how can a bowler chuck a leg spinner. It was also ironical that Murali hit the winning runs in the match with Sri lanka chasing around 300 rund or more
No doubt Mr Hair has brought the game into dis(re)pute on several occassions. Many have questioned his integtrity and capability as an unbiased umpire. Despite continuous appeal by the subcontinental boards, he has been persisted by ICC to officiate the matches. Yesterday's farce clearly revealed his character and he should be axed by ICC with no second thought. Is players are jaudged/penalised for their on-field behavior why shouldn't be the umpires ?
