ball tampering in 4th test between England and Pakistan
by Dr Dileep on Aug 21, 2006 06:57 AM

Immaturish beheaviour from Inzamam allowed prejudiced D Hair to forfeit the match in Englands favour. What was coach and manager doing? did they not know the rules???Public dissent is never allowed in a match which is on.To protest after being warned was ridiculous.
Only Inzamam knows what they did,the ball should be examined under media live to prove the point. But Pakistan has been previously faced similar allegations

Ball Tampering By Pakistan
by Atul Langer on Aug 21, 2006 12:58 AM

Hi ! I was going throught your article on ball tampering by the pakistanis and the reverse swing being created by it.
I feel its a pure figment of imagination and umpires like Billy Doctrove & most certainly Darell Hair have had their fair share of controversies and they do not require anymore to keep themselves in the limelight. Its pathetic when players from the subcontinent are always at the receiving end.... Its time that the ICC took a corrective stand on such issues.
Thsi action by the umpires is just not acceptable.
I belong to India but I commend the stand taken by Inzy... Self respect is also involved with the game.
Cheers Inzy.. Keep up the good work... We will support you.

this pakistani attitude of tampering ball is against the ethics of cricket. the pakistani are representing their nation & keep minimum shame of asian atleast & check their scoundroulous behaviour. Maximum penalty must be put on guilty players to the tune of ban for playing first class cricket for rest of his life like azaruddin, cricket is game of gentelmen said KAPILDEV IN 1983 sir

Alleged Ball-tampering controversy
by RK Sudan on Aug 20, 2006 11:35 PM

Pak are desperate to win the last test,if they do,that would be their saving grace. But if ball tampering allegations are put to inquiry, and found to be true,Will the ICC,the int'l governing body have the grit to penalise the culprits?
Q is simple, but difficult to answer, since due to Asian lobbying in the ICC,the body of administrators were ineffective in taking any action in the past, against the offenders,Pak in particular.
May Lord give strength to ICC!
