Imran's comments about Inzamam coming up the order to bat are a bit tricky. The captain is injured and what if the captain gets out when goes up the order (To inspire the team)? Probably Imran would have used another version to criticize. If we want to blame Inzamam now, than we must also agree that he deserved credit for all the success Pakistan had earlier, till this bad series. Whenever the team is with low morale all the seniors must do is to standby the captain and team. This is probably the reason why some cricket teams make sure that players do not get any access to media during the cricket tours.
Inzamam is a reluctant leader. So don't expect him to lead and inspire in a crisis. He is also past his best and the sooner the Pak team turned to Yousuf or Younis Khan for leadership, the better for them. The fortunes of a very talented team will turn around dramatically. After all the speed of the train is the speed of the engine and imagine a sluggish Inzy as the engine!
