ganguly is gift of god to our nation and as well as to the cricket world!
we are dishonour him since 10 months! if he belongs to australia/s.a.,/pak/eng/nz.,/west ind/sri lanka then these teams could have protected him. if they want drop him, they will set the time to ganguly and given honourable send off to him. but sadly he belongs to indian dirty bcci control!
he is almostall equal to sachin tendulkar in oneday international side! in the world one day intls., best batsmen like Sanath jayasuriya,sachin and then certainly is to be GANGULY!!! but poor ganguly he came from west zone and he was played with superstars like dravid, kumble, laxman, sachin. even though he stood high, and he kept india in the top sides in the world best teams! what has doing the bloody red penus and baroda scrape(chappel/ kiran more, and dravid). as a batsman dravid is really wall of india, but he doesn't suit as captain ! about sachin, he is really very good run machine than any others since almostall 2 decades! but was also not a successful captain for india! but ganguly, when he was captain - he made 11 centuries and 25 half centuries and significantly he took india into top!
I would have been happy to read a title Ganguly in the problems. There is no rationale to select Ganguly particularly when we read weeks and weeks about the weakest batting performance of Ganguly. The form of Indian Selectors are in poor shape now that Ganguly has been selected. As a avid follower of the game I raise my voice to change the outofform Selection Committee.
It was a good decision to include Ganguly and it is almost certain that he must also be in the final 15. Otherwise selectors cant waste one slot for Ganguly and eliminating at the end. Ganguly has the best and last chance eventhough under tremendous pressure. A person with great record and lot of match winning innings, it must be same as how he made century in Lords (He was under similar pressure when he had to perform to the best extent to keep his place at that time). I wish him the best.
this reflects how politics occupies teh center stage of Indian Cricket. A great Bowler liek Kumble is not included in the squad moving to Srilanka. And it is absolutely rediculous that Sourav ganguly has been included in teh probabe 30's by the selectors who in teh recent past commented that "Ganguly's career is over". Now the same selectors included him in teh 30's and secondly when actually he was dropped from teh oneday side and test squad he was basically performing then and now that his performance in teh county's are just too bad still he is included probably because he locked horns with his previos so called Mentor Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya and Mr. powar gifted him with the inclusion. Great Going INDIAN CRICKET POLITICS. Surely, Sourav Ganguly and Kumble are one of teh best players india ever produced.So, BEST OF LUCK Mr. Ganguly and Mr. Kumble.
Inclusion of Ganguly in 30 probables is fully justified as he has yet been given the chance naming "last chance" where he can prove himself and I think a player of his standard should be tested in the International Cricket and not in county cricket. We must not forget there remains some player who performs well in domestic cricket but not been able to perform well in International cricket and there remains some player who plays good in international cricket but can not perform well in domestic cricket and Ganguly is of that kind. Comparision of Ganguly's batting average in domestic and international cricket proves the fact. So he should be given a last chance in the International cricket.
Ganguly in probables list is because he is still in the BCCI contract this year. BCCI plan is to use him so that other players can have practise and also humilate ganguly by droping him in Top 15 list for champions trophy.
