What a shame that there are no official records for club cricket. Even then by no means is Hughes effort diminished.

Well done Jonathan Hughes.

Somethings wrong

The basic math in the report is wrong.
6*6 = 36
1*4 = 4
1*2 =2
1*2 (Nobs)=2
Total =44. I didnt expect BBC to do such an error. Thats really strange. May be he also managed to score 7 runs twice, which in itself might be a record.. well.. unclear though...
Having said that, someone at rediff should have verified this before posting it.

ravi -- i think 42 is being referred to as the batsman's personal not taking extras into consideration as the extras dont go into the batsman's personal account ( This is nly a possibility)
