Rubbish

The demands of cricket has changed a lot. We are proud of what our great heroes of present have acheived. In both pakistan and India. They gave us so much of entertainment. When I visited the abu dhabi cricket stadium, the humidity was so high and I was told it was autumn kinda season for them. We used to see them playing matches during May in Sharjah. The kind of perspiration and sweating and loss of water/fluids from our body we had during those two ODIs made me feel pity for heroes like Sachin, Akram, et all. They got burnt out. Had they played like Sunny or Javed, Akram would have been still playing and Sachin would have never had even a single break down.

Why Condmn too much cricket
by Navin Chand Goela on Apr 26, 2006 04:31 PM

Its surprising that Indian players, while making hay of too much cricket, should be complaining about playing too much cricket. Please stop crying and condemning too much cricket. Its advantage India since there is a huge, rather biggest pool of cricketers available in India than anywhere in the world. Suffering from an embarrassment of riches, BCCI & selectors could allow players the privilege of pick and choose (a la rotation policy). Every LOI must see at least one debutant and no regular should be picked for more than ten matches in a month. That way India would have a much larger pool of tested and trusted cricketers. There could be a time in near future when we would see two full-strength Indian XIs playing two different rivals on the same day and both of them winning all the matches, thereby raising a new interesting controversy--which is the better of the two.
