It was "enlightening" to note that as a match referee Srinath would have to concentrate more than he ever did as India's opening bowler. If only his priorities were not as messed up, India would have had one of the greatest bowlers of all time!
It is an honour that Javagal Srinath fully deserves. He has been a wonderful Ambassador of the game and the India too. He played his cricket like a true gentleman and is a person who harbours no biases. Therefore I think he will do justice to this responsibility put on him
