Regarding Ganguly Plans
by praveen Jain on Apr 25, 2006 06:28 PM

I think this is a good move. Being a Senior Player his experience counts a lot in the world Cup. After Looking At Azhar's performance in a recent Charity match in Pakistan we cannot say that the new talented players can compete with the experiece.

The saying goes "OLD IS GOLD"

Ganguly must continue playing
by Supreo on Apr 24, 2006 12:52 PM

Ganguly may be going through one rough session in his career. But as a cricket, he still has some years to go before he can hang up his boots. Personally, I feel he should sign up county cricket as well, as much as play for his state team. This will keep him in good nick and mental preparedness. My best wishes are with him.

Whyn`t Ganguly
by Sasikanta Tripathy on Apr 24, 2006 12:03 PM

I hope that Ganguly must be tack back to Indian cricket team. He may selected for test tour. But he must be required, when India face a down session that may be against Aus or SA or Eng like. This time Eng come with less experience player, so Dravid`s team come accross this. But time must come when Dada will be required.
Thanking You.
Your`s,
Sasikanta Tripathy.

Ganguly has no plans to quit

I dont understand why everytime we need to discuss on Ganguly. Did we discuss when Kumble was not in the team? Did we discuss when Laxman was not in the team? I dont think Ganguly deserves any more attention than the names I mentioned who in my opinion are more talented.

Can we stop dirty politics in selection
by pks on Apr 23, 2006 08:09 PM

Why only few players should be axed, when others are treated as previlaged one. After Ganguly it seems that now it is the turn of Ajit Agarkar. Few former players whose contirtubtion are negligible has started vomiting against poor Agarkar. One such former player is Atual Vasan who has not cotribted much but without cosidering the record of past 25 mataches Atual Vasan is against Agarkar's inclusion. Can anything help for comeback of Sourav Ganguly.

Welll.................

Well, when a person is out of form,it's there in cricketing history that he will be kept out so as to get some domestic games and regain his form. But in this case,Yes..it's true that saurav is not the man we know,but..ifever he want to do well in domestic matches, his mind shud b clear.Chapell can never deny that,he has a problem with saurav..and his exclusion from the team can be clearly understood from the unlikeness chapell and more had with him,for unknown or personal reasons.Saurav has the same in mind and he know many are against him as well as supporting him.

Concluding..There's no point in digging the past.If saurav can play well in the domestic matches,he can very well come back and at this point it's tough when the raina's and yuvraj are in great form.Miles to go,before saurav sleeps.

Indian legends Kapil, Mohinder, Sunny, Vengsarkar are sources of inspiration for the younger lot !
by Dr. Cajetan Coelho on Apr 22, 2006 05:08 PM

There is plenty of top cricket yet to come from Saurav, Laxman and Anil. They just have to draw inspiration from the legendary Indian all time greats like the World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev, long serving Mumbai maestros Sunny and Dilip Vengsarkar and ofcourse the talented allrounder Mohinder Amarnath, the glorious icon and master blaster of comebacks and not quits.
