Gavaskar has past his thinking era
by Vinswap on Apr 20, 2006 05:11 PM

A dissent is a dissent. A player, even if he's captain of a team must learn to respect onfield umpire's decision. Just because the team has been turmoiling over a season, it cannot be excused for such an arrogant act.

Basically Gavaskar has exhausted his grey part of brain. Once he supports a dissenting captain, next he passes comments as he would play 365 days for the country when Tim May expressed the over-scheduling of itineraries. Come on Mr. Gavaskar, think practically and not emotionally. Respect the nature and physical limitations of a human being.

Australian's by nature are not true sportsman. Their basic nature is to tease the opponant. They are nor ready to accept the defeat with open mind. They always take the sports ground as a battle ground. But really is ita battle ground?

The hero of the team is RICK, but why he behaved like this? They have old traditions of such type of beheviour. Their genes are like that, they never take the any momemt lightly. They are at the top of the cricket but still the beheviour with small team was not decent. what can we expect from these people. Very bad scenarion.

I do not know why Gavaskar is admiring Ricky? I think he has forgotten the Melbourne test which he was leaving in between and then poly stopped the worst which would have been taken place at melbourne. Sunny, I know we Indians have great minds to give up the things but Australians are not one who we can forget about their teasing nature.

Ridiculous, yet again !

Its ridiculous to say that Ponting has to be excused as Australians have had a long season and have travelled a bit. Just the other day Gavaskar said that the Indian cricketers shouldn't complain about long seasons, and he said that he would play for the country, 365days a year.

Its very unfortunate to see these kind of statements, from greats like Gavaskar.
