sachin's fall
by ramesh on Apr 06, 2006 09:33 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin's current predicament has been the result of a combination of lack of form, short of confidence, frequent injuries, long lay-offs etc. Unfortunately, each of these feed into the other. Now, Sachin has to sit down and do some serious thinking abt his cricket. He has to have long sessions with Chappell. He should watch those games on how he got out. He has to watch his games in the earlier part of his career to grasp the technique he employed against the same bowlers and balls. He can even emulate Steve Waugh who opted out of one form of game to remain fit and retain the competitiveness. Sachin is still the greatest player ever produced by India. It would be unbecoming of us to consgin him to the garbage due to some poor performances recently.

Get ur facts rite first,sir.
Gavaskar-last innings was probabaly the greatest ever palyed by a batsmen on a square turner vs pak at bangalore.(His only odi century came at the fag end of his carrer).
Wen it comes to the greatest evr,i don't think u'll find Graha Gooch's name anywhere near the top of the table(no disrespect).
By the way sachin for all hi bad form has averaged much better than Kaif(surprisinly not dropped yet).
Everyone goes thru bad patches, one needs to have played the game to realise that.Jus coz sumbodys havin a bad time doesn't mean hes not gud enough anymore.
Ppl who have the audacity to criticize sachin are a national shame.Ppl who don't understand cricket and need to have an opinion on evrythin(ppl called for his head after the 2003 new zealand tour too, result and damnin 623 runs in the WC).
Why do we get such immense saddistic pleasure when we see and idol fall,is our insatiable vanity or just the wicked streak in us.(the next time u fail to get aproject on time u shud b fired????!!!!)

Sachin and Lara are great batsman, like Gavasker and Gooch. But it is high time they realise that neither Gavasker nor Gooch had GREAT FAREWELL....they became a burdon to the team.

The hunger lacks in the eyes & attitude to make runs. The young lads are knocking the doors...Hemang Badani, Dinesh Mongia were good prospect but could not cement their place in team due to the high profile players.

The same fate is in front of Kaif, Gambhir, Raina etc.

Make a winning team not a team of winning individuals and loosing side.
