Sachin Tendulkar, as named "The Master Blaster" is completely true as named. He should play his attacking game always irrespective of the outcome. These days due to video plays being seen by all the teams any opposite team will try to get him out through all the possible loose shots played by him throughout his career. So it is very difficult for best batsman to continue the same show always. We, all the viewers should take all these factors into consideration before making any sort of comments.

I dont recall David Gower singling out Sachin as someone special, while talking high of many other cricketers. The reality is that the magic sheen of Sachin is now dulled, and he is vainly attempting at defending his vulnerable record from Brian Lara. If you read between the lines, even Gower seems to be saying 'lazy elegance & graceful retirement' go together.
with reference to the article, 'Sachin is special', David Gower forgot to mention a few names -like Viv Richards, S.Gavasker, Gary Sobers, when it came to batting prowess. In my opinion Sachin has been in the list of all time greats when we talk about elegance, style and of course prolificity in run getting.
