Many cricket fans are in opinion that Sehwag & Kaif should be dropped. But I think that Sehwag must not. In recent past, Sehwag has sufficiently proven his importance as an aggressive opener. India need opener like Sehwag, not like Dravid. Dravid should never come in opening when India has an aggressive players like Dhoni and Pathan. I suspect that Dravid is on the way to Ganguly who prefer his record first rather than thinking on the record of the team as whole. Indian Inning should not end without the play of Dhoni. Kaif must be dropped.
The dicision made bye the kiran more & dravid & cricket board of india is so weak & poor dicision.Because in 1 day i think gambhir is the better option then sehwag & kaif.I think both has to be replaced(sehwag & kaif).because since last 1 year they are not perfoming.
Sehwag is a good player but when he is not in form why cant the selection team dropping him for atleast 3 matches?
Kaif is a one of the good fielder but fielding only is not helpful in cricket, its very poor performance from him from last 9 matches, why cant he out for few matches?
As a Opener Gambhir is not doing very well but atleast there is a compromised contribution can be expected from him, why he cant be continued for few more matches as observation?
It is good for Dravid, Chappell and More that India is winning. In both the first two one-day matches, things were really not very good, but ultimately India won. I think its a great relief for these threesome. The only worrying part is Sehwag's and Kaif's form, or lack of it. Otherwise, the name, probably wanted as "Dead or Retired" by More and co., may again pops up. Now an off-form Gambhir is replaced by Uthappa. He may or may not get chance, as Dravid is now showing interest in opening in both Test and OD, which he was once very much against. But what to do? Else, someone may bring Ganguly's name as a opener, specially in OD and it has to be stopped by any cost. Kaif should be thankful to Sourav. Indirectly Sourav is helping him to keep his place. Lets see, how long the fun goes.
A England full strength side could make things more competetive and interesting, both on and off the field. Now egerly waiting for India's WI and specially SA tour and their performance against Ntini and co.
More and team management should show the courage to tell clearly that Ganguly's name will never be considered and why and end this hide and seek game.
