How can Chappen eat his words of Ganguly being unfit to be the Captain, that Ganguly had become too lazy to be a leader even citing a particular instance:? Compromise? For his opinions? Against his convictions? Come whatever in future, there will be always a suspicion and bad-blood. It would have been better for Indian Cricket (for the 'gentleman's game') that these two part ways, and BCCI should not have forced the compromise on both of them.
Both of the two how to work it out i mean people have ups and downs but try to work on it. Chappell shoundn't have asked Ganguly like that and Ganguly shouldn't have spoke it in front of the media you guys decide let bcci decide who stays or what ever. But remember in the end Indian cricket suffers the most
Whatever the board have decided in the case of solving the matter between Graig and Sourav is relly funny.Its a very obvious decition but there should be some strict norms to handle this kind of sitution as it may cause a serious problem in a player's or a team performance. There is no doubt that Sourav Ganguly has proved himseff as a batsman(In both test and onedays,his records tell this) as well as a captain.Bad patch can come to every player's life.Even Sachin has gone through this for more than a year.So this types of comments should not be passed to any player especially before the match.On a captain tension always remains mero than any other player.Graig's thoughts are purely austrailian.But India has not enough reserv bench strenght as Aussies.So he should make comments looking at all these matters.Board must take the matter more seriously.
All indian cricket fans must realise one thing from the incident that this is the way by which we deal with issues. Favouratism,reservation and "stabing from the back" are integral part of any organisation like BCCI and most of the other indian sports federations. Greg aimed to put indian cricket vehicle in right track, but when there are passagers in the vehicle without paid ticket(but free passes) how can you expect the train in the track.And the driver Mr ganguly himself lacks moral and ethical licese to drive.
