Dear Sir
I am entirely in agreement with your points and strongly advocate that Mr. Dalmiya is unnecessarily poking his nose in these matters. He is as good as any other state Cricket Board's President. He is posing himself as the today's Mr. Packer in Indian Cricket.
Coming to Ganguly's fitness and performance, his body language reveals that he is too arrogant and autocratic. There is hardly an inning played by him in the last couple of years that earned him applause and victory to India.
Apart from all this, it was shameful to replace Rahul Dravid as a Captain, once Mr. Ganguly was back after his suspension, in the squad.
Mr. Chappel is a high profile coach and his performance as a player has been splendid. He is capable of taking Team India to a new dawn and so must be given the freedom work his own way.

Is chappell a liar

Why don\\\'t you guys (media) leave the cricket team in peace and not make issues out of nothing, don\\\'t have fight with anyone in your office, so why to make issue of it, let the board take the headache of finding solution as thats their job.
But this doesn\\\'t mean I am supporting the issue happened they acted like kids in blaming each other, i hope they will learn soon to fit the box with each other and share the hot seats.

Shame ..........
by M Sri on Sep 28, 2005 03:27 PM

Is it not true that every cricket lover knows what is saurav's contribution to the team these days.

So dalmiya's, mahindra's etc are the show masters.

Can anybody do anything to saurav when these 2 r there
even if he scores 0's in hundred consecutive matches he cannot be removed.

I donot know why Chappel is saying that ganguly lies on injuries. what is the need for ganguly for doing that. As long as BCCI is run by dalmiyas and mahindra and a few more political bigwigs saurav is safe.
If anybody on the earth in any team would have performed like saurav, he would have been out of team and possibly from cricket.

But this is indian and indian cricket.
Sabh kuch chalta hai.

Mera bharat mahan.

its an embarrassing day for indian cricket
by jasmeet on Sep 28, 2005 03:24 PM

hi....i m a lover of indian cricket & cricket itself. according to me, 27 sept. is the dark day for indian cricket. How u blame a person like greg chapple that he is lier just to save the captain, who is very shamefully not withdraw his position in indian cricket just for selfishness. Once,if u give charge to improve the indian cricket to coach...and when he tries to push back discipline in the team...u r pulling him back. some persons says.....he wants indian cricket will never match aussi criket..... its narrow thinking....at this level....if u r not give him liberty and freedome to coach indian cricket in his style....how can u expect results from him...i just conclude this matter in one sentence.....that is yesterday we pull indian cricket backward.

I dont think Chappell is lying
by Ruchi on Sep 28, 2005 03:22 PM

I think Saurav Ganguly should be kicked out of the national team. There is a lot of politics going on
in the BCCI who made the final decision.

Chappell and BCCI
by Abhijit Mukherjee on Sep 28, 2005 02:42 PM

Yes, ultimately that Chappell's allegations have effectually been ignored ans his recruit as a deputy someone called Frazer having been asked to quit, unless Chappell is a man of no shame he should quit. But from the guy who could stoop to the level of asking his bowler to bowl an undrarm ball to avoid a possible defeat,we can expect some further depth of indecency. BCCI should not have taken chance with him and should have shown him the door.

Ganguly is a bad example
by Amar on Sep 28, 2005 02:28 PM

It is official...Ganaguly is the worst thing for Indian cricket right now...I hope we really get thrashed by Sri Lanka and South Africa in the upcoming series'.
In anycase Ganguly will definitely fail. He doesnt have to try to hard to fail ...it comes naturally to him. whether as a captain player or human being.
Hey Ganguly...India is greater than you ....you better beleive that.
