Congrats !!!

Congrats Greg,

It seams that we all knew this was going on, but there was no one to question.
I personally feel that you have reached the wrong places in writing up the mail. All those members of the BCCI are non-trustable. They are there only to mint money and play dirty politics. There are so many good player who's career was ended without even giving them chances to show their talent. It was all the game of BCCI and Ganguly as a good team work. Ganguly seams to be mentally ill, he needs rest and more over we need to get the team members out of that hell and recharge them. i pitty them, so many ads they gave, so many lies they speak, under performance. They should be treated the way Pakistanis are treated when they loose a match with India. they will learn the lessons only then.

Anyway, it is time to change captain, all the best for your battle.

-Shyam

chappell's decision is wrong
by Nishanth on Sep 28, 2005 08:49 PM

Ganguly is the best captain comparing any other captains in india. He may be struggling for runs for the past matches but his winning records is good. Then i hope he will do the best in the comming series. Then again this kind of decisions from the chappell's side will leads to his downfall i hope.So chappell shud shut his mouth and see wats ganguly doing that is better for him.

Ungrateful you all
by Nikhilesh Sinha on Sep 28, 2005 06:53 PM

Having gone through most of the opinions here, I am really fabbergasted to see that almost all of the mailers expressed their anger towards our captain. It is true that Saurav is passing through a very critcal time when his form is almost down. But the way the mailers here have attacked him is an utter shame for being an Indian. Chappel may be right in his expresion towards Saurav in his professionalism attitude. But it cannot be forgotten that what Team india is now today is only for Saurav. Zonalism was the name before Saurav took over charge as helmsman. No player in his team did so far express his disrespect towards him, nor evern we heard any hitch among the players under Saurav's captaincy. Saurav is the only captain in Indian cricket in whose tenure we have become a team of respect. The success of Team India is becoming an eyesore to somebody and hence some vested interest is creeping gradually to destroy this unity in Team India. Can you imagine any captain before Saurav is jumping over to embrace his colleague taking a vital wicket? All were before him were miles away from his teammates. We should salute him for his contribution for the country!!!!
