He has loosed confidensce in himself as well in his coleauges. As you find other than bhajji nobody has reacted on the issue. Also his performance in the domestic cricket has also gone down , new faces are putting their honest potential to perform , where he was lacking.
i think sourav still can be the captain of the team... he is good.bcoz of sourav india became a good team. he found new faces 4 a new team........... he is the who made the india best... without him india cant do anything. so indian cricketboard should give him a chance again. then hell get a chance 2 prove that he is still a good captain & also a good player. otherwise noone can say that he lost his rhythem..........
Ganguly shluld be inculed in the team and to be allowed to open the innings atleast for one full series.
He was good at the opening slot, hence we can try him in the opening slot in the upcoming England series to decide the future of the former succesful captain.
yeh ..Sourav Ganguly definately best captain..because he is so agressive in captaincy,and moreover he was one of best batsmen in world,but of late he is not in gud form,but i guess class is permanent & form is temporary,so he will defintaely have gud time wid bat....so finally i feel SOURAV GANGULY......shud be the captain for INDIA till 2007 worldcup.....simply because there is no other palyer...who has tat captaincy brain and can replace him.
He lost his performance, and also he was not able to concentrate on batting, bowling. He was not at all respecting co-team members and also other country cricket players. so many times ICC punished him for his bad behavior, Its really good to removing ganguly from captaincy. He was not fit our county team
hey man its unfare to target Ganguly alone why not talk about other players too i mean sachin and sehwag they haven performed as well so why only ganguly thats not fare, and neither do i think he is an embarrassment definatel not!!!!!!! bhumika chatterjee
No doubt he is a good captain but if we consider 2007 world cup aspect we need a captain with good form of batting As a worldwide phinominon of batting all top ranking batsman got retaired at the age of 32/34 years ans Mr ganguly is also near by that .
i feel that ganguly is unfit to lead bcoz the way he is playing from the past couple of years shows that the runs he got are only from small teams like bangladesh,kenya.i feel that he should drop as a player and work on the mistakes and give a chance to other players to get into the team.There should be no feeling of ego coz u r playing for country and not to urselves.i agree that he has done a terrific job till now and i think its the time to step down the hotseat and give to other capable person in the indian team
Saurabh Ganguli can still be better one day player and earn a seat in Indian One day squad but DEFINITELY has no place as leader of either Indian Test team or One day team. He is not fit physically as can be observed clearly while he is on the ground and secondly Five Years is a long period to lead a cricket team.Now its time for others to implement their ideas with fresh enthu !

Everybody is talking about that I scored against weak opposition recent times but other 6 batsmen also got fair chace to score against them what happened to them ? Shewag,Laxman,Dravid,Sachin,Yuvi,Gambhir, if all scored centuries against the minnows then our teams total would have been near 800 everytime, did it happened ? or they were not reluctant to score against the minnows ? or give chance to me to score against them ? at their cost ? Shewag must be lucky see how I am guarding his pretty bad and inconsistence form by projecting my bad form to the public. So do many of our bowlers fit or unfit where are wickets other than for Pathan and bit Kumble. Do Sachin also deserve a place by his current form ? how many matches he had won by himself a great chocker at all important games faintly remember the Sharja matches against Ausies thats all 6 yrs ago. Dravid yes quite a few match winners but that again history like mines we have to judge him now on, why not let him relax and play his bat why the burden of captainship he is too relaxed and lacks imagination for that. I think Yuvi and Kaif can be groomed for the post from now on.
