Have a look at the match report of rediff, totally against Ganguly. In past many innings of Dravid are damm slow. But here the rediff reporter is in favour of dravid and against Ganguly. No way you can beat Saurav. We are proud of him. When Saurav, Sehwag, Yuvraj scored run India secured victory. SHAME Rediff MatchReporting SHAME.
If india is not going to play aggressive cricket against the Zimbabwe,then with whom do they play agrssive game. As clearly sadi ganguly is playing for his century and the captain post. It's shame to have such a captain for our team.

The people who do not undestand the game of cricket,make these type of comments. No player in the world plays only for his team. Saurav is having his difficult times, its not his batting form but it is the confidence he lost. He has played the game for him and that inturn served our team,our country. We should be proud of ,that we have a captain with such fighting spirit.

I know its a shame.. shame to the so called "fans" who know nothing about the game and keep blabbering.. the country has been ungrateful to Ganguly.. it is a known fact.. whatever he does attracts critisism..
scoring a 100 attracts equal critism as scoring a 0.. playing aggressively and playing defensive attract critisism.. tearing off his shirt at lord's Balcony does not befit a captain.. backing youngsters is a big mistake..
Scoring a 100 against minnoes (Kenya, WC 2003) is bad.. even if it pulled India out of a soup.. 15/3, India..remember
Not scoring 100s is also a flaw.. even if the player has got out in 70s, 80s and 90s numerous number of times in the last 1 yr..
And the biggest mistake.. scoring 15000 intl runs at an avg of 40..
well saorav ganguly should be removed from his captaincy simply because he not in a good form and he is playing for himself now and not for the team.the replacement should be rahul dravid
Whoopee ! India's amassing huge totals against insignificant opposition again ! I'm sure these huge scores and cheap wickets will cement the place of some passengers in the team for some time to come.

Ganguly has done his job. Every one will have up and downs in their carrier. Now he came back to his original form. he is a great captain for indian cricket team.
Chapell should not be like cunning guy. This is high politics this will spoil the releation ship with the teammates. we should not allow to grow like this.
The innings played by Sourav was nothing less than a captain's knock. He had clear strategies to tire out the Zimbabweans in the feild and get them to bat in a tired condition...result is just in front of us. Let us not make it a fashion to criticize Ganguly for whatever he does. Rather he showed great temperament and character to earn every run, which is quite difficult for a natural stroke player like him. Also let us not forget we have won maximum tests under his leadership, so he knows full well when to attack and how to do so. Congrats Sourav carry on with the good work...
this is the third day of the first test of a new season. we have 2 more days to bowl out a mediocre batting line up. what i dont get is; how is it the need of the hour to bat quickly, and what purpose will it serve. we could have batted quickly and got a 175 lead as we were taking a lot of chances, or do what we did and bat zimbabwe out of the match. time is never a factor when you have bowled a team out and taken a big lead inside the first 2 days. test matches are scheduled over 5 days, and a win is still a win, whether it be in 5 days or 2. every team has its own way of doing things. in this case the need of the hour all day was to consolidate, the fast scoring had been done at the top of the order by dravid, sehwag and gambhir. its not about personal milestones, its about putting hte team in an unassailable position
