i think board ppl have to think on it. kaif is very much responsible guy devoting his 100 % to every match. not like a ganguly .. laziest captain i have ever seen. rantuga is far better than ganguly.
I think Kaif should be made as captain. He has got the past experience leading under 19 Indian team and winning world cup for them. Moreover he is in such a good form as a batsmen and one of the best fielder in the world.
In my opinion, its high time that we need to pass ont he batton to the Gen-next...Yuvi,I think has all the needed capabilities to lead..he is an allrounder,a team man,a better fielder,useful parttime bowler and most importantaly...can show the fist to all when it matters most!!!! Yuvi- Captain and Kaif - vice Captain...my choice for the next World Cup.
As i can say that the all players are not loves to play thier games bcs they all are busy in making money from different companies and they got enough so they dont think that if we are not going to perform well it will affect our spirit so its important to put ban on all these types of activities so they all can just concentrate on thier play to gather money for them bcs if they perform well then only they can be remain in team otherwise out and cant make money
i think the way Kaif is performing and his ability and match winning performance has proved that he should be Next captain, coz captain should give an example of leading the team from the front and our Captain Mr. Ganguly is failing.Ganguly has done a lot to the team as captain.But he has understand that one cannot sleep with his past record.Current form is very important.So he should be axed out of the team & captaincy should handed over to kaif who has the spirit and Raina should be in in both type of game. Looking at 2007 world cup no other option is available
Mohd Kaif is only a good fielder. He cannot play real fast bowling and his footwork and technique are awful. He looks like a joker when he stands in the slips and jumps at every delivery being bowled. To sum up, he is a mediocre Cricketer. To make him Captain of India without any qualifications would be stupid !!! Whoever recommends his name for the post of Captain might be a bigger fool !!!
I agree with your ratings, and the comment by bangalore's Jeyaprakash for captaincy should handed over to kaif who has the spirit. Adding feather to it his profile shows he was also an successful captain for the under 19 world cup winning team. In aspect of considering the south african team decision to captain an younger player is working out, same in england, its time for India too considering the Indian Teams Future.
Hello, Here are a few of my thoughts. I believe that we have a long term problem to solve. 1. The pattern we always see is that we somehow squeeze into the finals of any series only to loose badly in the finals - this has mainly to do with our mindset. 2. Our bowling is and will always be our week point. All of our frontline bowlers are bets mediocore - if we were to prepare an unbiased world XI for one days, then none of our bowlers can make it into the team. Unless we discover 3 if not 2 good bowlers who can consistently perform in the world arena by taking wickets at an economical rate, we will continue to stumble. 3.All rounders - they are extremely rare, and India have none - so if we can unearth one, then we are really there. So our team would be 4 batsmen,1 all rounder, 1 wk batsman, 4 bowlers. Thanks Swami
